The short version. This site has no analytics, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party marketing tags. The only personal information collected is what you type into the contact form and send on purpose. It is used to reply to you. It is not sold, rented, or traded — ever.
This site, stefanverleysen.com, is operated by Stefan Verleysen through Asan Digital LLC (Pennsylvania, USA), referred to below as "we" or "us". This policy explains how the website handles your information. Products such as UserAuthGuard, EQ Messenger, and EduQueue are governed by their own agreements with the districts and organizations that license them, not by this page.
Information you give us
The contact form on this site collects exactly four fields:

When you submit the form, this information is sent to an automation service we host and
control at automation.asan.digital, which delivers it to our inbox. It is not passed
to any advertising network, data broker, or marketing platform.
Information collected automatically
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics or tracking scripts. We do not build a profile of you, and we cannot tell who visited.
Two things still happen automatically, as they do on nearly every website:
- Hosting logs. The site is served by GitHub Pages, which records standard server request data such as IP address, browser type, and time of request. These logs belong to GitHub and are governed by the GitHub Privacy Statement.
- Web fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google's servers, which can see your IP address. See the Google Privacy Policy.
How your information is used
Contact-form information is used for one purpose: to read what you sent and respond to it, including any follow-up conversation about the work you are asking about. It is not added to a newsletter or a mailing list, and you will not receive marketing you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. It is shared only with the infrastructure providers required to operate the site and deliver your message — the hosting and email providers described above — and only to the extent needed to do that. It may also be disclosed where the law genuinely requires it, or to protect our legal rights.
How long it is kept
Contact-form messages are kept in our inbox for as long as the conversation may be relevant, and no longer than 24 months after the last exchange, unless the message becomes part of a client engagement with its own record-keeping obligations. You can ask for yours to be deleted sooner.
Your rights
Whatever jurisdiction you are in, you may ask us to:
- tell you what personal information of yours we hold;
- provide a copy of it;
- correct anything inaccurate;
- delete it; or
- stop using it.
Email hello@asan.digital and we will action it within 30 days. Because we do not track visitors, we usually hold nothing at all about someone who never used the contact form.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions are encrypted in transit. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect what we hold. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords, financial details, student records, or other sensitive information through the contact form — ask for a secure channel instead.
Children
This site is aimed at organizations and professional buyers, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and it will be deleted.

If this policy changes, the revised version is posted here with a new effective date. Material changes affecting people who have already contacted us will be communicated by email where we can.
